Madonna Heads To Malawi With Her Daughters

It's not every day, we see super stars doing something for others, but when we do, it makes us believe that celebrities actually do care.

And Madonna is one celeb to put her millions of dollars to good use, by building a school for girls in Malawi.

Talking to BBC News in 2009, when she marked the start of construction, she said: “Growing up in a privileged life, I took education for granted, but coming to Malawi has taught me a lot of things and learnt to appreciate what life gives.”

Heading back to the country where she adopted her son, David and daughter, Mercy, Madonna laid the first brick of the school, which had “Dare to dream” on it.
