It looks like the grass isn't totally greener on the other side of the pond as Russell Brand found out...
The comedian is pining for his British football team, West Ham, after finding out that basketball just won't cut it.
Russ took to twitter to let everyone know of his plans to attend an LA Lakers game: "Lakers tonight. I'll be courtside.
"Kobe must focus on three balls because I refuse to wear underpants."
Pictures of Russ looking bored out of his winkle pickers surfaced today and Russ confirmed his displeasure via Twitter.
"I've just heard the Lakers are all millionaires! How! I put my balls in a basket ONCE and I was thrown out of the maternity ward.
"What is a Laker anyway? A sub aquatic Quaker? It doesn't make sense.
"And they pick the ball up in their hands. God, I miss West Ham."
Oh dear, we hope Katy Perry makes up for giving up his West Ham season ticket...
It looks like Katy will keep Russell happy...
