The new teaser poster for Angelina Jolie spy thriller Salt is all about its star's much-celebrated face.

The plays a CIA officer Evelyn A. Salt who goes rogue after being accused of being a Russian spy in the movie, which was originally written as a vehicle for Tom Cruise before the actor dropped out and it was re-written for a female lead.

And as you can see, the artwork features the Hollywood beauty in extreme close-up as one of her many incarnations in the film.

In her efforts to escape her pursuers, the mysterious Salt dons a number of different disguises, hence the black wig in poster.

The question of 'WHO IS SALT?' may (or may not) be answered when the film hits cinemas next summer.
