Robert Pattinson has revealed he thought it was cool when Leonard DiCaprio spoke about his rise to fame.
In an interview last year, DiCaprio advised Pattinson and fellow actor Zac Efron to ignore the media and continue focussing on their acting career.
The Titanic star also said that the Twilight star's emergence meant he no longer had the “burden” of being a teen heartthrob.
"When I heard Leonardo DiCaprio had said that, I just thought; 'Wow, that's so cool,' because that guy's had the best career of any young actor," Pattinson told the New Zealand Herald.
"You can virtually guarantee anything he's in will be good. That's the type of career I'd like to have too."

Pattinson also revealed in the interview that he found it easier to shoot the second film in The Twilight Saga, New Moon.
The 23-year-old said he could relate to his character Edward Cullen's relationship troubles in the movie.
New Moon, which also stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, is released in cinemas worldwide on November 20.
