Lindsay Lohan's father Michael says he plans to save his daughter amid reports she has become reliant on prescription drugs.
Unconfirmed US media reports have claimed the actress is regularly using a cocktail of drugs, including Adderall, which is normally used to treat ADD.
In an interview with RadarOnline, Michael described his daughter's situation as “serious” and said he had expressed his concerns to other members of the Lohan family.
“I had a conversation with her, her mother and everyone…over the next couple of weeks I’m going to be doing things in a pretty public way,” he said.
“But Dina has got to get on the same page with me. It’s a serious situation.
“You can’t just talk about it and tell me that you want to do an intervention and then do nothing.”
Lohan's father's comments have coincided with the launch of the actress's first clothing line at Paris Fashion Week.
