After winning a local talent show, The Jackson 5 signed to Steeltown Records in their native Gary in 1967. Michael was nine years old at the time. During their brief time with the imprint they released tracks such as the above 'Big Boy' and 'We Don't Have To Be Over 21 To Fall In Love'. I think it was the opposite. I think Michael was jealous that Madonna's career kept going and his did not. She never turned to drugs or molestation and ruined her career like he did. And as far as his "type of woman", I think Michael only liked women he could get a maternity contract from. Otherwise, he seemed more interested in little boys. And, what is he trying to say when he says Madonna was upset b/c she's a "girl. a woman". What's wrong with that??

I agree... Michael's fame really seemed to fizzle out by the beginning of the 90's. Madonna has kept on going. That had to have made Michael jealous.

Her speech at the VMAs was all about herself. It seems even worse now after hearing how little MJ thought of Madonna! It really makes it look like she was cashing in on his death for her own promotion.
