Barack Obama really did call Kanye West a "jackass" for muscling in on Taylor Swift's big moment at Sunday's VMAs - the off-the-cuff comment was caught on tape.
As Entertainmentwise reported yesterday, Nightline host Terry Moran told his Twitter followers that the president made the remark during an off-the-record segment of an interview with CNBC.
He wrote: "Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential."
