It was somehow fitting that Lindsay Lohan chose to debut her new bleached blonde locks outside a 7-Eleven in West Hollywood on Thursday.
The sometime actress – who teamed up with an L.A. milkshake emporium for a PR stunt recently – was spotted leaving Byron & Tracey salon in Beverly Hills the previous evening with her new 'do hidden under a black fedora.
But yesterday Lindsay unveiled her yellow extensions as she chilled with on-again/off-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson by the side of the road.
Could be that the Mean Girls star's obession with Marilyn Monroe is getting out of hand?
It was recently claimed that Lindsay was pinning her hopes for a career revival on bagging the screen legend's iconic role in Some Like It Hot, despite some very major obstacles.
"Lindsay is pinning her hopes on getting a remake of Some Like It Hot off the ground," a source told OK! magazine.
"She's undaunted, but there's no script and there's no money. The only thing Lindsay has to sell is herself.
"She sees herself as the second coming of Marilyn Monroe - misunderstood, talented and in desperate need of an incredible film vehicle that will truly showcase her talents."
If Lindsay really is serious, she needs to lose the orange fake tan for starters.
