P Diddy has posted a series of candid photographs of himself and Michael Jackson “chilling” on his Twitter page.

The first “never before seen” image shows Jackson with his arm around the rapper. It's not clear when the image was taken.

Diddy Tweeted: “Never before seen photo of me and Mike chilling.”

The rapper was later forced to post another two images of the pair after some of his followers doubted the authenticity of the first.

“I can't believe y'all think this picture is photoshopped; I'm going to post two more pictures today to prove it,” he wrote.

And true to his word, he later posted another snap of him and Jackson taken on the same ocassion, with the caption, "Me and Mike chillin some mo."

A third picture was captioned, "Me and Mike chillin some mo some mo."

P Diddy – aka Sean 'Puffy' Combs - was one of the first high profile celebrity Twitter users to pay tribute to Jackson after his death last month.

Her wrote: "Michael Jackson showed me that you can actually see the beat.

“He made the music come to life!! He made me believe in magic. I will miss him!"
