Dressed in a black two-piece and with her usual blonde locks dyed brown, the High School Musical starlet spent July 4 lounging on the beach and smooching with her video director boyfriend Scott Speer.

The romantic getaway was a double celebration for Ashley.

The couple flew into Maui two days earlier for the actress' 24th birthday on July 2.
