'Thriller' was released in November 1982. 'Thriller' was much darker than its predecessor, at times focusing on themes such as the supernatural and paranoia. As well as the title track it spawned hits like 'Billie Jean' and 'Beat It'; songs that propelled Michael into the global superstar he is today. It's officially the best selling album of all time, with the Guiness Book of Records citing in 2007 that it has sold 65million copies.
