Susan Boyle will be asked to mentor contestants on the next series of The X Factor.
The 48-year-old Britain's Got Talent star is expected to work with the over-25 contestants, one of whom could get the chance to sing with Boyle.
X Factor host Dermot O'Leary told The Sun newspaper: "Who she's going to duet with - that's the fun part."
O'Leary said he was a fan of Boyle, and believed finishing runner-up on Britain's Got Talent “was probably the best thing that could have happened to her”.
Despite being the bookies' favourite to win, Boyle eventually lost out to London dance act Diversity.
The singer, from Blackburn, Scotland, is currently performing on the Britain's Got Talent live tour.
