Peter Andre has secured a million-pound deal to star in a Bollywood movie, according to reports.

The singer will star as a fictional musician in the as-yet-untitled production, which is due to be shot partially in London.

According to the Daily Mirror, Andre, who is in the process of divorcing his wife Katie Price, will perform two hits in the film.

"The deal has really lifted his spirits,” a source said.

Andre returned to London yesterday from IIFA awards in Macau, China, where he re-launched his pop career.

As Entertainmentwise reported earlier, Price is said to have told friends over the weekend that she is “so over” her husband.

“It’s been really hard but I think I’m finally getting there,” she apparently told friends.

The couple, who met on the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here in 2004, split last month.
