Michael Jackson has called on the promoters of his comeback gigs in London to construct a new Neverland in Kent, according to reports.

The star is said to want Foxbury Manor in Chislehurst converted to include a bowling alley and funfair.

Jackson is believed to be staying at the £15million property throughout his residency at the O2 Arena, which runs from this July until March 2010.

According to the Sun newspaper, Jackson wants to recreate his former Neverland home in California, which the star was forced to give up last year amid spiralling debts.

“He thinks he can recreate a bit of its magic in Kent and concert bosses are happy to indulge him,” a source said.

“He loves bowling, so has insisted an alley be created and he’s never lost his love of funfairs, so has demanded one be built in the grounds.”

Jackson is currently rehearsing in Los Angeles for his 50-night concert residency.

The singer has not performed a full concert since he was cleared of child molestation charges in 2005.

His last full tour, entitled HIStory, took place in 1996 and '97.
