Robert Pattinson dazzled onlookers while filming a shirtless kissing scene yesterday – and that's before the special effects bods get to work on those CGI vampire sparkles.
The premiere heartthrob of the moment showed off his newly buff physique on the set of Twilight sequel New Moon, currently shooting in Montepulciano, Italy.
Rob unveiled his impressive six-pack – complete with motion capture dots so Edward's glittery skin can be added in post-production - whilst shooting a steamy scene with co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays his mortal love interest Bella.

Rob has said that he dropped 3lb to play Edward in the first movie: "I was just trying to lose like every ounce of body fat so when I took off my shirt, I would look like an alien. I thought that kind of worked for the story.
"I was so much more muscular than I had ever been in my life, but I looked weird."
It seems that Rob is more proud of his muscles this time around - wearing an open shirt, he gave the assembled fans a glimpse of his new pecs as he left the New Moon set yesterday (see above.)
