Halle Berry hasn't been keeping it real on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's May issue.

At first glance the smouldering cover girl is almost unrecognisable as the 42-year-old Oscar winner thanks to some over-zealous airbrushing.

Her face has been slimmed down dramatically and lightened, and her cheekbones over-defined.

Unfortunately, the digital trickery only serves to make the actress appear older than she is in real life.

Fail!
