Nicole Richie stepped out looking swell yesterday.

The blooming star took time out to attend the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation private cocktail event and showed off her growing bump in the process.

The event - which supported UNICEF’s World Water Week through The Tap Project - was organised by Nicole and Joel Madden to raise awareness about the international issues endangering children.

The Hills star Lauren Conrad also came out to show her support for the cause.
