Brad Pitt has once again hit out over the media's obsession with his private life, specifically his relationship with Angelina Jolie.
The actor - who is Oscar-nominated for his role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - says that his craft as an actor is separate from his personal life and he's happy for it to stay that way.
"Somehow you're not supporting your film if you don't get out on a show and talk about your personal life. It has nothing to do with why I do this," he told Newsweek.
"It's everything we didn't sign up for. There's this whole other entity that you get sucked into. You have to go and sell your wares."
He added, "I feel for the people who are just getting into the business.
"It sets the wrong focus."
Brad also recently told reporters that awards glor is overrated: "Awards are really nice but it's a fickle business. If your number comes up, it's fantastic.
"If not, we still walk away with a great film and really I think that's the healthiest way to play it."
