Kate Winslet has spoken out about forgetting Angelina Jolie's name at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards.
The English actress was quick to reassure reporters yesterday that her failure to thank Angelina along with the rest of her fellow nominees in the Best Actress catagory was simply the result of being overwhelmed.
Kate said, “My mind went so blank. It was such an amazing moment.”
The Revolutionary Road actress gave a long acceptance speech but momentarily forgot to mention fellow nominee Angelina as she took centre stage.
She said, “I’m so sorry Anne, Meryl, Kristin - and who’s the other one? Angelina."
Kate went home with two awards - Best Actress In A Motion Picture and Best Supporting Actress In A Motion Picture.
Quizzed on her chances of winning at the upcoming Oscars, she added, “I have no idea.”
