Kelly was forced to admit she had a problem in April 2004, after a UK newspaper rang up her mother Sharon and said they had a photo of Kelly with a bag full of pills. "She admitted it after a lot of twisting," Sharon told CNN. "The amount of pills I found in her bag was astounding," she added. She attended the Promises centre and a drug rehab clinic in California.
