Britney Spears Disappoints Fans At G-A-Y Pre-Birthday Celebration: Video

Britney Spears left hundreds of disappointed fans in her wake when she failed to take to the stage at G-A-Y at Heaven on Saturday night.

The pop princess fell short of everyone's expectations by miming Womanizer on the X Factor and later rubbed fans up the wrong way at G-A-Y.

Over-excited Britney fans piled into the London nightclub in expectation of a performance by the comeback queen.

But the cheers quickly turned to boos after the singer only stepped out to blow out some birthday candles and waved down at the crowds from a V.I.P area.

Her spokesman insisted later, “She was never asked to perform.”
