Miley Cyrus celebrated her birthday at Disneyland in the company of famous guests including Tyra Banks, Demi Lovato and Jennifer Love Hewitt – oh, and a bunch of fee-paying fans.

The scandal-prone starlet doesn't turn sweet sixteen until November 23 but got the party started early by taking over the California theme park for a day-long extravaganza.

When asked what she wanted for her birthday, Miley told reporters on the purple (her favourite colour) carpet, "My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I'm good for a while."
