Miley Cyrus Struts Around In Skimpy Outfit For MTV Video Music Awards Trailer (WATCH)

The songstress has received several nominations

It looks like Miley Cyrus will be a prominent feature at this year's MTV Video Music Awards with the singer featuring in her own trailer for the star-studded bash that will take place later this month, wearing very little and pulling her usual bizarre faces.

The promo clip takes place in a New York subway station where a busker is playing an acoustic version of Miley's single 'We Can't Stop,' before the riff of the Beastie Boys' 'No Sleep Till Brooklyn' begins playing in the background.

As a group of youngsters spray paint a smiley face in ode to Miley's legions of fans, the singer then begins seductively making her way down a ladder, flaunting her endless legs in a pair of tiny black hotpants and baring her taut stomach in a white crop top.

In true Miley fashion, the singer begins pulling a series of sexy poses while descending the ladder before flashing her teeth and gold grill, before the clip ends with the caption: "Miley's coming for you." Gripping!

Speaking about her involvement in the awards ceremony, Miley told MTV: “I'm so thankful to my fans. I'm obviously making the music and I come out here and like, 'work,' but it's really all on the fans.

“They're all about buying the record and who's out there making the video so viral and get to 100 million. So, really, I want to continue to shine the light on them a little bit. That's why it's important to show this army of Smilers.”

Miley, 20, is incredibly nominated for Best Pop Video, Best Female Video and Best Editing all for her smash hit single 'We Can't Stop' which is currently sitting pretty at the top of the UK iTunes chart.

“Winning, they get as excited as I do, I really think,” Miley said of her nominations. “Cause they're the ones who are making it happen, voting every day. So every day I just go to my Twitter feed and I see 'I just voted for Best Pop Video,' 'cause I see all my followers who have been voting, it's obviously so cool.”

She added: “That's why I wanted to represent them in this whole video and show kinda how they're a part of my crew.”

Kanye West has just been announced as a performer at the ceremony along with Lady Gaga, while other artists and presenters are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
