Zoe Saldana got into the spirit of things, wowing in a bold futuristic gown for the London premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness this evening.
The actress, who reprises her role as Uhura in the film, looked stunning in a black and white dress with a whispy skirt. Unfortunately for the actress the breezy London weather caught her unawares as her gentlemanly co-stars Chris Pine, Benedict Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto were forced to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction on the white carpet!
What a stunner: Zoe Saldana chose a quirky number for her big night in London (Lia Toby/WENN)
The trio also made an effort for their big night out in the capital, suiting up in navy, grey and black numbers. Meanwhile Alice Eve, who makes her debut in the franchise looked chic in her Ermanno Scervino strapless suede dress and up do.
The cast have been travelling the world on the promotional circuit for the second Star Trek film from J. J. Abrams. Alongside Alice, who plays Dr. Carol Marcus, Benedict is another newcomer to the franchise playing villain John Harrison.
The second movie in the rebooted series follows Kirk, Spock and the rest of their Enterprise crew on a mission to halt an unstoppable force of terror from within Starfleet.
