Harry Styles will not be leaving One Direction any time soon with a source denying claims that the singer had been recording a solo album separate from the boyband.
The 19-year-old heartthrob was said to have been spending time in a recording studio in Hollywood with his pal Ed Sheeran recently, working on demos for his solo material hinting that Harry was already considering a career away from One Direction.

However, a source has told the Mail Online exactly what 1D fans want to hear, denying that Harry is recording separately from the group and the boyband are actually in the process of working on their third studio album.
“Harry is not recording solo material. All of the band are working on tracks for their third album,” an insider told the publication. “Harry is putting together some ideas for the record. The boys sometimes work up ideas separately as well as working together, as they did last year.”
“Niall, for example, recently collaborated with Tom and Dougie from McFly on new tracks," the insider added.
Phew! A source caused quite the stir when they claimed that Harry was already thinking about his solo career when 1D decide to part ways.
"He loves messing around with some of the new songs he's been working on. He's bounced some ideas off his friend Ed Sheeran and has already laid down some vocals," a source told the Sunday Mirror.
"Harry's priority is obviously still with One Direction, but when he decides the time to go solo has arrived, he's likely to have a project raring to go."
One Direction are currently in the midst of their 'Take Me Home' world tour, which comes back to the UK this week to perform five nights at the O2 Arena before moving onto Newcastle, Glasgow and the US and Canada.
