The word of the street?of Beverly Hills is that ?Lost? actors Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lily are to be engaged.

The rumour started after Monaghan was seen shopping for rings in California.

The pair met on the Hawaiian set of the hit TV show and have been an item ever since.

Friends of the couple have stressed that they are desperate to keep their romance, but now it looks like marriage may be on the cards.

Monaghan must really like Lily; he was seen looking at diamond eternity rings on the ?oh so expensive? Rodeo Drive.

?Lost? is being broadcast in the UK on Channel 4 and E4.
