Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry And The Jonas Brothers Lead The New Year Celebrations

America's youngest talents lead the New Years celebrations as Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers and Katy Perry counted down to 2009.

Miley surprised one of her biggest fans by dropping into her home for New Years Eve on FNMTV Presents: A Miley-Sized Surprise.

The teen superstar came to fan Alison's Californian home and lavished her with gifts, as well as putting on a concert in her bedroom for her and her friends.

The singer also donated a $15,000 cheque to Alison's charity Pink Ribbon, which the fan set up after her mother was diagnosed with cancer, and performed at a specially made stage at Alison's high-school in Los Angeles.

The Jonas Brothers also treated fans to a live performance in Times Square on New Years Eve.

And Katy - who shot to fame in 2008 with her song I Kissed A Girl - lead the celebrations at Gridlock's New Year's Eve event at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

The singer showed off the quirky style that has seen her become a hit with fans in a low-cut corset dress.
