Morgan Freeman Involved In Serious Car Crash

Morgan Freeman has reportedly been involved in a serious car accident in Mississippi.

The 71-year old had to be airlifted from the scene and taken to hospital in Memphis Tennessee, according to TMZ.

The accident happened at around 11.30pm last night, north of the small town of Ruleville.

Morgan is believed to have been speaking just before being taken to hospital. It is still unknown what condition his unidentified female passenger is in.

Alcohol is not thought to have been a contributing factor to the accident.

Could this accident be the result of a Dark Knight curse? So far, Heath Ledger who plays The Joker tragically passed away from an accidental drugs overdose, and Christian Bale who stars as Batman was arrested for assault. Watch out Maggie Gyllenhaal!
