Kathy Hilton To Play Tom Cruise's Wife?

More has emerged about Tom Cruise's cameo appearance in upcoming Ben Stiller movie, Tropic Thunder.

According to the lastest reports, viewers will be treated to the spectacle of Paris Hilton's mother playing the role of Tom's wife.

And by all accounts, the actor proved a big hit with Kathy Hilton.

"She filmed the scene last winter and didn't even tell her kids because she wanted to surprise them," a sourec tells In Touch.

"She raved about Tom. She said he was so warm and friendly and made her very comfortable."

News of Tom's surprise cameo in the film hit the headlines late last year when he was spotted sporting a bald hairpiece and prosthetic belly on the set of the film, which also stars Stiller, Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black.

Other movie highlights include a convincingly 'blacked-up' Downey Jr.
