Kate Hudson & Owen Wilson 'Not Engaged'

Reps for Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have denied reports that the couple are engaged.

A UK tabloid reported over the weekend that a friend of Kate’s had confirmed their impending nuptials after the actress was pictured sporting a huge 'engagement' ring while out in Boston last week.

“Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with for ever," the source told The News Of The World.

“He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional.

“The engagement is a natural step forward for them both and Kate’s ecstatic.”

However, it appears that the reports of the wedding bells may be premature.

"She's definitely not engaged," a rep for Hudson tells Usmagazine.com.

A rep for Wilson also denies the rumours.

Hudson's rep insists that the wedding bling was simply for her new movie, Bride Wars.

Hudson and Wilson rekindled their relationship in March.
