David Copperfield's Creepy 'Pick Up' Technique Exposed

A document giving detailed instructions to David Copperfield's assistants on how to pick up attractive women for him has emerged.

The ‘Show Participation’ form – obtained by TMZ – requires the magicians people to arm themselves with a number of props in order to reel-in the ladies.

These include brochures of David’s islands in the Bahamas and “blank photo(s) of David (if one of the girls is a Scorpion.)”

Apparently “Scorpion” is how David refers to the ‘lucky’ females invited to join him on stage.

David’s assistants are also tutored in how sell their employer to the women he takes an interest in.

The document contains the following sample script:

"Do you know that David has recently bought some islands in the Bahamas? Well they are BEAUTIFUL and we are doing a lot of project (sic) for these islands: Ads, TV, Radio and many other promotions.

“So we like (sic) to keep in touch with you in case there is a job in the future we think you would be interested in."
 
Just to up the creep-factor further, TMZ have also obtained a threatening letter from David's legal team – written following his investigation over rape claims - warning his employees not to talk about what goes on at his show.
