Jennifer Lopez Set For American Idol

To perform, not audition...

Jennifer Lopez is set to perform on American Idol, it has benen revealed, joining stars such as Prince, Mary J. Blige, and  Shakira, who have all performed on the show.

Access hollywood reports Lopez is due to appear on the show on April 11. with Gwen Stefani muted to perfrom on March 28th.

Fox has announced season three winner Fantasia will perform on this week?s show, with sources speculating that she will announce that she?s joining the cast of Oprah Winfrey's 'The Color Purple' on Broadway.

This year's ?Idol? competition is now down to the final 24, with the top 12 men performing on Tuesday night, followed by the final 12 ladies on Wednesday.

  • When did J Lo last perform? I can’t remember. I thought she was just busy being a celebrity and trying to get pregnant. Doesn’t matter to me. It’s not like I’m going to watch the show!
