The Verve?s seminal hit ?The Drugs Don?t Work? is the song most likely to make you cry, according to an expert.

Dr Harry Witchel carried out the research and claims that scientifically the 1997 hit will bring more people to tears than anything else.

The scientific tests measured people?s heart rate, breathing and skin temperature as they listened to a variety of tear jerkers.

It beat the likes of Robbie Williams? ?Angels? and Elton John?s ?Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word? to claim the unique feat.

?The Drugs Don?t Work? was number one on the week that Princess Diana died nine years ago.

You can pick any 10 songs of Madonna, and they sound allot sorrier than these songs. Depresssing self centered rambling’s devolved around an ego, who for all her boost of a larger than normal IQ, Still wears silly string on her buffed out wrist, and delusional believes the world revolves and lines up with the space between her two front teeth.

”Life is a mystery, everyone must stand alone; I hear you call my name; And it feels like home.” That makes me cry. Madonna is my celebrity twin. Although, she has done more w/her IQ than have. I’m not particularily driven. Not for fame anyway. There’s a little song. Who the hell cares about this year’s saddest song anyway. I think The Cure’s ”I Will Always Love You” will remain top on the charts for me...

Well you wake up alone, so i just go from there. At least when i awake, I’m not Ronald Regan and need 2 hrs to inform me I’m president. I Will always Love You. I can’t begin to tell what a shitty piece of bad tunesheisting it was. I remember the X playing imaginary piano in the air and making me feel like I was Donnie Hathaway,but I’m just jumping out of the 2nd story window. If i were him, he would have lived, go figue.
