Filming Of Top Gear Resumes Without Richard Hammond

Filming has resumed for Top Gear two weeks after Richard Hammonds 300mph near fatal car crash.

The BBC confirmed that the series has gone back into production with a spokesman saying: "We are resuming filming parts of the next series that don't involve Richard."

However, because of the delays in filming it is not known as of yet when the new shows will actually be broadcast.

The spokesman added: "The next series will not be scheduled until we have further news of Richard's progress. We remain committed to the future of Top Gear."

"What we've always said is that of course filming was postponed after Richard's accident and now it has resumed. We're delighted by that."

The filming began with Jeremy Clarkson test driving the new Lotus Europa at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey.
