Ang Lee To Direct New Shanghai Based Film
Oscar winning director Ang Lee?s new film is to be set in Shanghai during the Second World War.

Lee will making another film with production company, Focus Features on the back of the success of their latest collaboration ?Brokeback Mountain?.

Adapted from a short story by the later Chinese author Eileen Chang; ?Lust, Caution? will be a Chinese language spy thriller, it is being scripted by Wang Hui-Ling who co-wrote Lee?s film ?Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?.

Production on the new film is scheduled to kick off this autumn.
