Kendall Jenner has confessed that she tries to ignore her family when she’s doing her thang down the runway.
The model, who famously declared she was NOT a Kardashian on a magazine cover when she started to carve her career in modelling, claimed that she can’t look at her siblings when she’s walking down the catwalk.
Kendall, 21, has already appeared in an incredible array of high profile fashion shows at New York Fashion Week and has walked for the likes of Alexander Wang and La Perla and while she loves having her family support her – she can’t lock eyes with them in case something goes wrong.
She prefers to focus as she wants to avoid a Naomi Campbell-style tumble in front of everyone.
“I’ve told myself, since my first show, like I never look at the audience, never. If I do, it will mess me up,” Kendall explained while appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
“But Kylie… actually, if she’s at a show and my mum usually, I can hear them screaming. Sometimes I’ll smirk a little bit because I can’t hold it in, but I never look, I could never look at them.”
But while the Estee Lauder model is determined to focus on the task at hand as she rocks the finest garms in front of the fashion world, Kendall isn’t affected by nerves anymore.
“(I don’t get nervous) anymore, it actually depends on the situation, like if I’m wearing a really long dress with really crazy heels, then obviously the nerves set in,” Kendall said.
“I’ve actually become really comfortable.”
