Kate Hudson won’t use dating apps to find a new boyfriend.
The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star spoke to Ellen DeGeneres on her show on Friday about how she can’t really do the whole dating app thing.
Interestingly she is intrigued about apps because other celebrities are on it – but it’s only fleeting.
The 37-year-old said: “What’s crazy is that there’s a lot of, you know, celebrity types on these dating apps, which kind of makes you go, ‘Oh, maybe…’. No!”
Kate started going out with Nick Jonas last year and was linked to Brad Pitt after his messy split from Angelina Jolie in September. But she appears to remain single and won’t be swiping left or right any time soon.
“I can’t imagine,” Kate continued.
“So, you look at a guy, he’s hot, and then you see his profile and you’re like, ‘Maybe I’ll text him or maybe we’ll match,’ and then you start texting and then it just goes away. Like, all your girlfriends seem to maybe go to lunch and then it’s like, ‘What happened to that guy you met on Raya or Bumble and whatever else?’”
The Fabletics creator prefers to meet a guy in person aka the “old-school” way.
“I just think, why don’t you just meet a guy in Starbucks?” she explained.
“Why don’t you just go up to someone and why doesn’t a guy have the guts to come up and say, ‘Hey, I’m so-and-so. How about we hang out?’”
