Jennifer Lopez has got a little soft spot for Harry Styles (get in line, woman) and has picked him in a game of ‘Who’d You Rather’.
The Love Don’t Cost a Thing star had a giggle with Ellen on her show on Tuesday and set the record straight about her being a cougar.
JLo, who has been linked to rapper Drake in recent weeks, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and was asked to pick between Zac Efron, Brad Pitt, Nick Jonas and pretty much the whole of ‘hot Hollywood’. She chose One Direction hotty Harry pretty much every time. Who wouldn’t?
It was only Leonardo DiCaprio and Lenny Kravitz that she picked ahead of Hazza. Concluding that Harry was JLo’s perfect ‘boyfriend’, Jen couldn’t contain her giggles.
“Oh, he’s my boyfriend? He’s a little bit young for me!”
Using the opportunity to shut down any suggestions that she exclusively only dates younger guys, the 47-year-old star said: “OK, first of all, stop! I don’t date younger men. It’s not like you have to be younger. It’s not about that.”
The mother-of-two continued: “I just meet people, and then if I go out with them, I go out with them. And if I like them, I like them. And if I don’t, I don’t. It’s about the person. It’s about who they are, it has nothing to do with age.
“But there’s this thing because I dated Beau [Casper Smart], and he was younger and he was the first guy I ever dated who was younger than me. I got labelled right away.”
Jen, who has been married three times, said that it doesn’t matter about age when it comes to love and attraction.
“If there’s somebody older, they’re older. If they’re younger, they’re younger. It doesn’t matter,” she said.
“It’s just whether I’m attracted to them or not—attracted to their spirit, their soul, their energy, whatever.”
So while Drake is sending his former lover, Rihanna, birthday messages, JLo opened up about what happened between them.
“He sent me a song that he wanted me to be on. So we have a song together,” she said. “I don’t know what he’s going to do with it, but yeah!”
