Ed Sheeran is loving his double-whammy hits at the moment.
The Thinkin’ Out Loud star has confirmed he will be dropping two brand new tracks on Friday after performing one at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday night.
The 26-year-old, who enjoyed a year-long hiatus, has literally come back with a bang and not only performed at the Grammys but will be enjoying a moment in the spotlight at the BRITs.
Not only is it a secret song, but there’s a secret guest too. Stormzy maybe?
”I’ve got two things dropping on Friday (24.02.17) that are pretty interesting. One that gets debuted at the BRITs, which I think nobody is expecting. I think it’ll be decent,” he said during a chat on BBC Radio One.
”I’ve managed to keep it secret up until now, which is good. But tomorrow night , I think we’re the penultimate act.”
Speaking to Clara Amfo, Ed revealed that he’s desperate to work with Rihanna on a track and we’d be so here for it.
The Castle on the Hill star is willing to give Rihanna a song as he’d love to hear her take on it.
He said: ”I’ve loved Rihanna since Pon de Replay and I kind of still want her to do Shape of You, she can just have it, she can take it from me.”
While Amfo suggested that the pair could team up for a remix, to which the British star said: ”I would love that, I think she’s great…
”She’s super fun too, every now and then you see Instagram photos of her doing really wild stuff she looks like she’s fun.”
Ed, who is pals with the likes of Stormzy, Courteney Cox and her fiance Johnny McDaid, is also pals with Jedward. The X Factor stars, who recently appeared on CBB.
“Have you got Jedward coming in later? I’m really excited about that,” he said.
”You know they have one phone between them and when I had a phone, they’d text me and interrupt each other, like, ‘No John, he does not want to speak to you.”’
Is Ed friends with everyone?
