Tom Daley has revealed that he dreams of becoming a TV presenter after his diving career ends.
Speaking to New Magazine on the eve of ITV1's Splash! reality show in which Daley will be mentoring, he spoke of his aspirations in front of the camera.
"When I finish diving, I'd like to be a TV presenter," he admitted. "Being a mentor will give me lots of experience, so I can get to the stage where, after diving, I'll be able to do presenting."
The 18-year-old won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics but he admitted to being very excited about his new role that will see him coaching celebrities including Jenni Falconer and popstar Jade Ewen on the reality show.
Speaking about what kind of advice he would give the contestants, he said: ""To trust what the coaches say. I like the neat diving, so they've got to have their legs together, toes pointed, with their legs straight."
Splash! is based on the Dutch show Sterren Springen and starts this Saturday (January 5th) on ITV1.
