Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell is convinced that Prince William and Kate Middleton will make a break from tradition to raise their first child.
Speaking to Life & Style magazine, the ex Royal staff member drew comparisons between Diana and Princess Charles’ very traditional parenting skills and revealed his beliefs that William and Kate will opt for a more "modern approach" to raising their unborn child.

“Don’t expect this couple to follow every aspect of royal tradition," he told the women’s magazine.
While Paul also added that Diana’s relaxed approach to bringing up William and Harry as normal as possible, which was a major source of confliction with the Queen, will be a helpful guide for mum-to-be Kate.
"[Diana] did everything possible to give them a normal, down-to-earth childhood - but had to fight their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, every step of the way,” Paul revealed.

Adding: "Diana’s independent approach to parenting will be the foundation for the way in which Kate and William will bring up their children."
We're sure William and Kate will be great parents no matter how they choose to raise their little one.
