Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood: 'A Royal Rumba By Prince Harry Please!'

The judge thinks this series has been the best yet, and only an appearence by Prince Harry could top it

There is no doubt that Strictly Come Dancing has proven victorious in the ratings war against X Factor.

The dancing show has pulled in millions of viewers every Saturday night this series with high profile contestants that include Olympians Victoria Pendleton and Louis Smith.

Even the show's Mr.Grumpy, judge, Craig Revel Horwood believes that this is as good as its gotten for Strictly.

Speaking to the Sun newspaper he said: "If we get great celebs, we get a great show. And this year we have been lucky — they’ve all brought their personalities and have all been different."

Strictly No nonsense from judge Craig Revel Horwood (WENN)

Although there is denying the calibre of famous faces that have taken to the dancefloor, but Craig does have someone else he would like to see take part.

“But I’d love to see royalty on the show. Prince Harry would be great. He’s no stranger to wearing next to nothing!”

The judge said there has only been one thing missing from this season- a romance.

"All the contestants have gelled but as we go on there is a bit of fighting backstage. It’s also a shame there have been no romances between the contestants. Generally there is one every year.”

Craig, who is not one to bit his tongue gave the Sun an 'honest critique' of what might be going wrong with the X Factor.

“Potentially it has run its course. They may have to change the format next year. It has become a little bit predictable. They should think about changing the panel.”

Tonight's final will see Louis Smith, Kimberly Walsh, Denise Van Outen and Dani Harmer compete for the glitterball.
