Despite constant denials from Britney Spear's camp that her relationship to fiance Jason Trawick is on the rocks, according to latest reports, the lovebirds will be spending the Christmas holidays hashing out their alleged problems in a last ditch attempt to save their relationship.
The X Factor judge and 41-year-old conservator are apparently going to spend the next few weeks deciding whether they will officially call it quits on their three-year relationship which insiders are claiming has been going from worse to worse.
"It’s a make or break holiday for Britney and Jason," a source close to the singer told RadarOnline.
"Things have been getting worse and worse with their relationship for several months now, and they know they have to figure things out once and for all because they can’t keep going on like this."
However, it seems the 'Toxic' singer may have been holding out from splitting from her beau due to financial reasons.

"If they do decide to call off the engagement for good, things are going to be tricky, legally and financially, so it isn’t just the state of their relationship they have to think about."
"If there wasn't those considerations involved they would of split a while ago. They hope to come to a decision before the new year," the source continued.
The close source also divulged that the couple have been sleeping in seperate bedrooms for an extended period, including renting adjacent hotel rooms while Britney filmed for the X Factor US.
The source adds: "Jason feels like he is Britney's babysitter and it's pretty much just a business arrangement at this point. Jason does love Britney and the boys, but he just can't see himself spending the rest of his life with her."
Despite the new claims, the pop princess gave a recent interview heaping praise on her fiance for always protecting her. "It amazes me that no matter what situation I'm in, Jason has the ability to always make me feel protected and loved," Spears told People magazine.
