It's probably not a show that you associate with the lead singer of one of the world's biggest indie bands.
But Shaun Ryder has revealed that he is a fan of Downton Abbey - and will be tuning in to the Christmas special.
The Happy Mondays frontman told Shortlist: "Absolutely, the missus loves it. I don't mind it either. It's a glamorous soap opera."
But he said that having young children also means a lot of kids' TV over Christmas.
He said: "We'll also be watching plenty of the Disney Channel - that's what happens when you have daughters aged 3 and 4.
"They even made me watch The Twilight Saga the other day. All four of them on the bounce, but they're okay - they're just Romeo and Juliet with fangs."
However, his band mate Bez is not a fan of TV in general and told the magazine: "I can't f**king stand TV. Most of it is b******s and s**t".
And he got confused when asked if he would be enjoying some canapes as part of his Christmas menu this year and replied: "I will definitely be having cannabis. Oh, canapés. The pastry stuffed with a bit of fish or whatnot? I don't think so, no."
