Taylor Swift has somewhat of a reputation as a man-eater but Reeve Carney, who plays her love interest in the music video for her new single 'I Knew You Were Trouble,' says the singer isn't a "full bad girl."
Debuting a slightly darker side to the country songstress, the visuals open with a dramatic monologue with Taylor wondering how she managed to fall for a bad boy who broke her heart.
The man in question is played by Reeve Carney who explains the meaning behind Taylor's character, who is based on her real life experience, and says she is drawn by temptation of a bad boy.

"She's not a full bad girl," Reeve told MTV News.
"She's someone who's drawn in by the temptation and the thrill of it all, but at the same time, she's halfway: She's got one foot in and one foot out."
"Whereas, I'm kind of both feet in, I guess. But there's enough charisma with the character that it kind of pulls her in."
Speaking on Taylor's acting skills, which include her puckering up to her handsome male lead, Reeve said he was surprised by how "natural" Taylor was at getting into character.
"I think she did a fantastic job, and I think she looked good with the pink hair," Reeve said.
"It was a great acting piece for her, too. I thought she was fantastic. I kept telling her, 'Man, you're such a natural. You've got to do more of this.' And I don't know if she was listening to me or not, but I think she definitely has a natural ability for sure."
We all know Taylor uses her real life love experiences as inspiration for her music but do you see a resemblance between her and the character in the video?
