Gwen also revealed that even after she gave birth she refused to stop working.
She said: "I came home and had Kingston, and when he was eight months old, I went back on the road. I nursed him for 14 months, so I would literally do my hair and make-up, go back to the bus, nurse him, put him down, and walk out onstage. And I did that for 100 shows."
Gwen and her husband Gavin have two sons together, Kingston, six, and four-year-old Zuma, but she has also talked about how she would have liked to have another.
She told Marie Claire: "I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago, and it didn’t work out."
"I feel good with what we’ve got. Everything works out how it should. You can’t plan anything, right?"
