Ed Sheeran sustained bumps and bruises after he was plied with drink and kidnapped by boyband The Wanted.
The group - Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes - are notorious for their tour party antics and accosted fellow singer Ed and took him on an all night drinking session after his song 'The A Team' was nominated for a Grammy.
Ed told the Daily Star: "I got kidnapped by The Wanted. They took me on their tour bus. After six or seven beers, I was in a state and, yeah, I had loads of giggle fits.
"I had bruises on me and stuff. I didn't know where they'd come from. It was a pretty mental night."
And it seems Ed's party with The Wanted may not be his last Grammy-related celebration - he intends to get a tattoo to mark the recognition.
He said: "I'm going to get a Grammy tattoo if I win. In fact, I'm going to get one anyway - a nomination, man, it's the s**t.
"I don't necessarily think I will win. I was surprised to be nominated. So I'm more happy with what I've got."
