Drew Barrymore has joked that her newborn daughter Olive is "a nice person"... at only 10 weeks old.
The chirpy actress, appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' talkshow this week, described her firstborn as an "ambassador to having lots of babies".
She said: "She is a good baby. I count my lucky stars every day. She's really interactive and happy and nice to people. She's a nice person!"
Ellen quipped: “You’re kind of crazy right now. How nice can she be to people? She’s 10-weeks-old.”
"She is selling it," Drew answered. "She is working it. She is so great.
"Olive is a definite ambassador to having lots of babies. I have met babies who are screaming and crying and they’re trying to convey all these things. You get so terrified and overwhelmed. I’m very grateful to her that she has it together. She’s really impressing me."
And on the choice of name, she explained: "I never would have guessed that would have been the name. But I was reading a book with my husband. I was three months pregnant and they said your baby is the size of an olive, and that was it. We never looked back."
