LeAnn Rimes is looking forward to having her own children with husband Eddie Cibrian now she is taking better care of herself.
The country singer is stepmother to the children of her spouse and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, but is discussing other family possibilities too.
She told E!: "Eddie and I talk about having kids and I would love to be a mom. "I didn't ever want to bring a child into the world without taking care of myself. And that was another reason I decided to go (into treatment)."
The 30-year-old has been married to actor Eddie since early 2011, and she is stepmother to Mason, nine, and Jake, five.
LeAnn underwent a 30-day program in August for stress and anxiety.
Brandi recently told Us Weekly that Mason became "extremely ill" after eating of LeAnn’s laxatives by accident, mistaking it for candy. In the TV special, LeAnn recounts how her extramarital affair ruined her public image.
She said: "I was America's Sweetheart for so many years, but it was just like everyone turned. "No one will ever understand how much thought and hurt were put into our decision."
In the programme which airs on Sunday in America, she speaks about how she chose to end her own marriage to Dean Sheremet.
She added about later having to enter rehab: "I was incredibly depressed and not quite sure of who I was. People are so quick to judge and make decisions for themselves about situations they know absolutely nothing about.”
