Martin Scorsese's film �Goodfellas� has been named the greatest movie of all time in a poll for Total Film magazine.
The film starring Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta won an Oscar for supporting actor Joe Pesci and has been hailed as one of the best gangster films since its release in 1990.
A spokesperson for Total film said: "It is slick, arguably the slickest film ever made. But it is also considered, layered and freighted with meaning."
"'Goodfellas' has it all - story, dialogue, performances, technique."

The top 100 films surprised many, with �Casablanca� only coming in at No. 98 and �Lawrence Of Arabia� at No.77.
